This unique silo was originally used to store grain and has been converted into a beautiful cabin. The silo is located on the banks of the beautiful Big Hole River, a blue ribbon fishing stream.
When you enter the red door, you will be greeted with a futon, television, unique dining bar, and kitchen area (compact refrigerator and freezer, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, toaster, and bottled water). The futon could comfortably fit one adult or two children. Head up the curved staircase to the loft, where you will find a comfortable queen-sized bed with luxurious bedding.
Step out onto the deck and sip your morning coffee while watching the fish jump out of the river. You may even get a visit from our dwarf pig, Stubbs, or her mama, Ruby. Both girls are very friendly and love marshmallows and cereal.
The days here are made for fishing, which you can do right out your front door or use the adjacent boat ramp to launch a day of floating the river.
There's nothing like a Montana evening. Enjoy the sky full of stars, with virtually no light pollution, while snuggled by the roaring campfire. If you are lucky, the northern lights may even make an appearance.
