3 Bedroom Ski Chalet in Packwood

This custom built craftsman style chalet is a 3 bedroom, two bath home with a new king bed in the master. This home features wood accents and trim with birch floors, hickory cabinets, pine doors, ceilings and timber accents. The large deck is partially covered and is perfect for that evening BBQ. We are within walking distance to downtown with restaurants and pubs(we are on a half acre in a cabin community so you can see other cabins). You will enjoy the hot tub after a day of skiing or hiking. Relax and sit by the fireplace and read a good book or enjoy a great movie. It’s not uncommon to see a herd of elk pass by on any given morning or evening.
If you are bringing a dog please note we only allow ONE SMALL DOG under 25lbs for a $39 fee. In your reservation request please let us know what kind of dog you have and how many pounds he is!

The closest Mt Rainier National Park entrance is Steven's Canyon entrance which is 7 miles away open late May to early October.

Summary: First and foremost, the location was perfect and we could have stayed much longer if we could so that we could have soaked up all the surroundings and the river. Very clean and comfortable. It was over 90 degrees both days and the air conditioning was a relief. We watched the hawks and eagles fly overhead and the elk making their way to and fro. I recommend this cabin for anyone who loves the fresh mountain air.
