Summary: Initially I was given a room that was "available" because I was early and asked about an early check in. And was thrilled to find they were going to give me a suite at no extra charge. I entered my room and proceeded to the refrigerator and freezer to put things away. Upon opening the door I was met with a pungent odor and the unit was warm. Figuring it could have been off awhile I left my items in my cooler bag, and proceeded to get ready and leave for a wedding rehearsal and set up. Upon arriving late evening I noticed there was no difference in the refrigerator. Too tired to deal with it i went to bed and addressed the problem with the front desk clerk in the morning. She had no record of me even being there or anyone in that room! My reservation showed canceled in the system. However upon digging further She found the actual paper showing my check in. I was given a different room. I moved my items to the new room. The appliance worked however there was a hole in the bathroom door, empty soap packaging on the bathroom counter and the frame under the bed seemed a bit small for the mattress. I had to move to the center of the bed to reduce the odds of just rolling off. Then upon checking out I was told there was an additional balance due of over $100. No notation, or explanation for the charges. I furnished the receipt for the reservation. 2 nights, 1 adult, paid in full in advance of my arrival.
