Mid-Century style house nestled on 25 acres and overlooking 5-acre lake, great for swimming on hot summer days and stocked with trouts. A winding drive leads to the house, providing perfect seclusion despite being easily accessible to town. The grounds offer an array of opportunities for activity & relaxation: a private lake for canoeing, a large deck for summertime lounging, a fire pit for stargazing and storytelling, a large grassy garden, great for lawn games and trails for exploring
The space
Aside from the grander amenities, details really make this house inviting to guests. The bedrooms all have excellent storage space and carefully curated design pieces from travel abroad. Not mentioning the in-floor radiant heat for a cozy wake-up surrounded by nature. These subtleties create an added layer of beauty and comfort to the experience.
The house is laid out over two floors. The upper level features a large, comfortable open kitchen and a living room with a brick wall fireplace and loads of sunlight. Guests can enjoy a 360° lake and forest views while cooking or relaxing by the fireplace.
Downstairs are three bedrooms - one master bedroom with a king bed, and two bedrooms with queen beds. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and there is a shared bathroom for the two other bedrooms. Both have a walk-in shower.
One of our favorite features of the house is the deck overlooking the private lake.
