Summary: Customer service was the biggest downer here. It started when we tried calling for the airport shuttle. We called five times over a 20-minute period with no answer. We finally got through to someone who told us the shuttle would arrive in 30 minutes. After waiting an hour with no shuttle, we called again and once again couldn’t get an answer. Eventually, we spoke to someone who said the shuttle would be there soon. When I arrived, I was expecting them to be swamped, but there were only two people at the front desk, so I’m not sure why the phones weren’t being answered. The two girls also came across as unprofessional. While dealing with another customer, they started speaking to each other in their native Indian language. The hotel itself is a little run down, but the one positive was that our room appeared to be clean and the bed was comfortable. I’d be happy to spend a little extra next time and stay somewhere else. Overall, I just don’t see how this property has an 8-star rating.
