The space
Bluejay Bay is a luxurious chalet-style mountain cabin with all the amenities of modern living while tucked away in nature on a quiet road near Lake Laura. From the moment you walk in, you will enjoy the full-length windows with gorgeous mountain sunset views right from the cozy main living room. The fully-updated and fully-equipped kitchen offers you a farmhouse sink, electric stove/oven, microwave, full refrigerator, and breakfast island where you can prepare a home-cooked meal with an Insta-worthy background!

Each morning, treat yourself to a complimentary cup o'joe from our coffee corner, and enjoy breakfast from the farmhouse table for 6 or breath in the fresh mountain air as you enjoy the morning bird songs from the patio table! Our upper deck also features a charcoal grill where you can cook up delicious hamburgers, brats, or steaks!

After a day at the resort or exploring the local area, our clean, luxury bathrooms offer the most amazing water pressure and hot water to freshen up. You won't want to get out of the main bathroom's large walk-in shower with waterfall shower-head and sprayer...but when you do, fluffy quality towels await! Two bedrooms with a king and queen bed boast plush mattresses, quality linens, and additional blankets for added warmth. So cozy, you might just sleep in!

During your stay, enjoy some quiet time upstairs in the loft that looks out over the main living space. Complete with a reading nook, futon, and fully-stocked library of classics, ghosts stories, and children's books you can certainly unwind with a glass of wine. Or, work-from-home from the desk fully-equipped with a monitor, keyboard, mouse, and USB-C docking station to connect your computer to!

For more fun activities or entertainment for your kids, the basement adds another living room with extra-large wall-mounted TV, olympic sized ping-pong table, fuseball, and a closet full of board and card games for all ages! A second full bathroom on this level offers you another deluxe shower space. Step out onto the lower deck to take in the view or relax on the porch swing and watch the sunset sky turn magnificent shades of pink. At night, a firepit area at the end of the driveway is ready for your evening marshmallow roasting.

Wifi is accessible throughout the property for your convenience and is fast enough to enable Zoom calls or stream Netflix. Our TVs come equipped with Chromecast so you can watch anything normally available to you from an app on your phone! Climate control is available to you via wall-mounted remote control in the main living room, basement, and both bedrooms.

Please ensure you either download offline maps or have directions pulled up prior to navigating to the home. Cell-service in the surrounding area is difficult to come by until you arrive at the home and can log onto our free Wifi! (Be sure to note the Wifi password and door code beforehand for easy entry upon arrival)

While we provide dishsoap, dishwasher pods, handsoap, Q-tips, cotton balls, and make-up remover pads, we do NOT provide shampoo, conditioner, or body soap.

Each guest will receive a bath towel, a grey face/hand towel, and a washcloth. A hand towel will be provided per each bathroom as well. Doggie guests will receive a grey towel for muddy paws!

There is no laundry access.
