Summary: I want to preface this by saying I’m a frequent hotel guest and generally understanding that things happen. Policies are policies. My feedback reflects multiple communication, safety, and service breakdowns during my stay, alongside a few employees who stood out. The hotel is modern and visually impressive. I arrived early and called to ask about early check-in but was placed on hold and disconnected. When I arrived in person, I was informed of a $45 early check-in fee, which I would have appreciated knowing during the call. At check-in, I was encouraged to leave a review in exchange for a complimentary beverage, which felt premature. I was required to sign a very long waiver via QR code that was not emailed afterward. My floor number was stated aloud in a non-empty lobby, raising a safety concern as a woman traveling alone. When I reached my room, my key did not work. After carrying my bags upstairs, I called the front desk multiple times and was repeatedly placed on hold. Eventually, a working key was brought up, but I then found food left in the refrigerator from a prior guest. Fernanda at the front desk handled this professionally and kindly, and the housekeeping manager, Roof, resolved the issue thoroughly. Both deserve recognition. One comfort issue: the mattress was very uncomfortable, and I could feel the springs. Overall, the hotel has strong aesthetics but clear operational gaps in communication, phone handling, safety awareness, and mattress quality.
