Looking to get away from it all? This cozy log cabin sits alone on a rise overlooking fields of sunflowers, where the deer & antelope graze and Kara Creek runs lazily through the valley. Guests are welcome to hike, fish Kara Creek, or fish the 11 acre pond stocked with trout (many over 20 inches) and large mouth bass.
This cabin sits about 4 miles from our ranch headquarters, where we also offer food, horseback riding and other activities for an additional fee and a minimum 24 hour advanced reservation (offered May-October only). We have an authentic saloon on site that is open from 4:00 to 9:00 pm from May-October. Please contact us for more information!

Summary: Pros, The location I can’t say enough. Don’t worry about dust because no tourists drive by. The bar and bar tender were amazing. The bed was very comfortable. There are no neighbors within a mile. Beautiful covered deck on two sides. Nice to wake up to a small herd of Antelope. Cons, There was no grill. Pet friendly but bring a cage. Microwave was complicated and not vented and no light. Smoke alarm cover was missing and no battery. With just a few little things fixed, it would have been a 10 5 stars!
