Welcome to our Hillside Hideaway located in the Coosawattee River Resort of Ellijay, GA. This is a gorgeous brand new home with 2 Bedrooms/2 Full Bath with a massive outdoor area on over an acre of a secluded wooded lot atop a hill.

Every item down to the smallest detail is completely new as of June 2023.

This is not your typical log cabin home popular in the mountains; however, we feel there are others like us that will appreciate a more traditional style home. Although it is more of a traditional home, you will still find rustic details such as a beautiful stone fireplace, wooden cathedral ceilings, and a gorgeous wall of windows overlooking the wooded back yard. You will not find every space (including furniture) to be made of logs or any animal pelts or taxidermy like many cabin homes, but you will find more subtle nature related decor that is appropriate for a home in the forest. Every detail in decorating this home was made with the intention of being beautiful and tasteful while at the same time not losing the feel of being in the woods or mountains.

The inside of the home is very spacious with lots of room to be comfortable. Storage space is abundant for all of our guests to bring plenty of groceries or clothing and never run out of room for it all. Parking is also not a problem with a large concrete parking pad on the lower level and an additional gravel driveway going right up to the front door.

This is a split floor plan with master suite on one side of the large great room and the guest bedroom and bathroom on the other allowing for more privacy away from family and friends when you want it.

The outdoor area is the most impressive in this beautiful home. You will be greeted immediately by a traditional Southern front porch complete with 2 rocking chairs (of course) for enjoying your morning cup of coffee and listening to the birds and watching deer. On the back of the home is an expansive deck with a "living area" in the center which is covered and complete with a ceiling fan. On each side of this area is a grilling and food prep area, a table and umbrella with seating for 4, and an area for 2 lounges for those that still would like to sunbath or take a nap under the oversized umbrella we have provided for relief from the sun. On the ground level of the home is a stamped concrete patio with plenty of additional seating which is completely covered by the upper deck. Just steps away from the bottom patio is a beautiful stone firepit with 4 adirondack chairs perfect for evening bonfires and making smore's.

This is a home perfect for relaxing or entertaining with its secluded location within the Coosawattee River Resort. You will always feel safe knowing others cannot get into the resort because of its 24 hour gated entry and day/evening manned security. Property is also monitored by multiple security cameras around the outside for owner and guest security.

The location is great for all of your mountain vacation activities with so many options either in or driveable from Ellijay, GA. Whether your goal is nature/adventure (hiking, fishing, boating, rafting, horse back riding), relaxation (wineries, orchards, antiquing, fine dining), or a combination of both, you will not be disappointed in this stunning new construction home. This is a perfect couples getaway or friends trip. If taking a family trip, this home is more suitable for older children.

While this home is new to the rental market, we are not new to hosting guests. We had a previous rental in Florida for over 13 years and had all exceptional reviews from our guests for paying attention to all the details and going out of our way to help them have a great trip. Many of our guests returned every year to stay with us and some will be staying with us in Ellijay because they know the quality of property we offer along with the care we take with our guests.
