Located 2 blocks and a short 1500' from the scenic beaches of St. Simons Island and steps to restaurants and shopping, the Mermaid Cottage is a 3 bedroom 1-1/2 bathroom home which has been updated perfectly for you and your group!
This charmingly remodeled cottage built in 1937 will wow you from the moment you step inside! The fully stocked galley style kitchen has been updated with custom kitchen cabinetry, granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. The kitchen even offers a breakfast/coffee table for two. From the Kitchen, step outside to the screened porch which has a outdoor dining set with seating for 4. Get cozy in the ample sized living room featuring exposed wood beams, tongue and groove ceiling, HD cable TV and a fireplace. Guests of the Mermaid Cottage will be treated to three comfortable bedrooms featuring TV's in each bedroom.

Summary: This is a well appointed cottage with a lot of character. While small it is very functional and it’s proximity to the beach and to the East Beach restaurants is great! The house could use a little maintenance (mainly the faucets in the main bathroom bath, which are a bit hard to control). And while there are multiple remotes around the house only the main TV worked properly.
